A 41-year-old store employee is critically injured after being stabbed at Lambertseter in Oslo.

The person in question was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The man has stab wounds to the upper body, the police say.

“We have some suspicions about which weapon was used, but we have no confirmation of that,” operations manager Tor Gulbrandsen in the Oslo Police District told NTB.

Police have arrested a suspected perpetrator, a 27-year-old man. He is unharmed.

“No relationship between the two”

“The arrested man has no known connection to Bunnpris, and it appears that there is no relationship between the two,” the police say.

They believe they have control over everyone involved in the incident and have spoken to witnesses on the spot.

The police have received reports that there has been a fight, according to newspaper VG.

“It does not appear to be a mass fight, but several people allegedly tried to intervene,” operations manager Rune Hekkelstrand in the Oslo Police District told the newspaper.
