In the last 24 hours, 4,407 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 117 more than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 3,377 corona infection cases have been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 4,152, so the trend is declining.

On Wednesday, 323 corona patients were hospitalized in Norway, eight more than the day before. Out of the 323, 118 patients are in the intensive care unit, and 79 among them are on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview.

A total of 1,305 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show.
