Update: 451 new corona cases registered in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 451 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway – 204 more than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 445 corona infection cases has been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 408, so the trend is rising.

As of Monday, a total of 5.4 million corona tests has been performed in Norway since February of 2020. A total of 122,414 people tested positive.

To date, 1,599,247 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 747,853 people have received the second dose.

On Sunday, 95 corona patients were hospitalized in Norway – four more than the day before. A total of 781 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show. It is not always possible to establish whether the patients have died of or with COVID-19.
