Update: 497,011 Norwegians have received the first dose of the corona vaccine

A total of 497,011 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of the corona vaccine in Norway, according to the National Institute of Public Health’s (FHI) statistics. Furthermore, 261,503 people have received the second dose.

According to the FHI, on Thursday, 19,569 people received the first dose, and 1,278 people received the second dose.

Most people have received the first dose in Viken (111,120) and Vestland (54,593). The fewest first doses have been administered in Troms and Finnmark (20,746) and Møre og Romsdal (24,782). 

Most people have received the second dose in the counties of Viken (56,841) and Oslo (31,338).

The first corona vaccine in Norway was administered on December 27. At the moment, Norway has put the use of AstraZeneca’s vaccines on pause.
