Update: 615,566 Norwegians have received the first dose of the corona vaccine

A total of 615,566 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Norway, the National Institute of Public Health’s (FHI) statistics show on Monday. 

Furthermore, 271,308 people have received the second dose.

During the weekend, 16,849 people received the first dose, and 1,086 people received the second dose.

Most people received the first dose in Viken (138,687) and Oslo (70,096). 

The fewest first doses have been administered in Troms and Finnmark (26,238) and Nordland (30,810). Most people have been given the second dose in the counties of Viken (59,147) and Oslo (32,015).

On March 11, the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine was put on hold by Norwegian healthcare professionals.
