Update: 70 new corona cases registered in Trondheim

A total of 70 new corona cases were registered in Trondheim on Friday. In addition, ten positive rapid tests will be followed up with PCR tests.

Out of the total of those infected, 31 are men and 39 women, Trondheim Municipality reported in a press release. Furthermore, 23 of the infected are in the age group 10–20 years, 19 are in their 20s, and 12 are in their 30s.

A total of 1,313 PCR tests were carried out at the Municipality’s test stations on Thursday.

The Municipality also stated that it is currently sending out a message on how the age group 12–15 years should receive a dose of the corona vaccine and book an appointment. The vaccination of the group starts in week 38.
