The EU has reached a milestone – 70% of the Union’s adult population have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated on Tuesday.
Von der Leyen shared the news in a video on Twitter on Tuesday morning.
“I want to thank the many people who have made this possible, but we must do more.
“We need more Europeans to get the vaccine, and we must help the rest of the world get vaccinated,” Von der Leyen stated.
