Update: 76,859 Norwegians have received the first dose of the corona vaccine

A total of 76,859 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of the corona vaccine in Norway, the National Institute of Public Health’s (FHI) statistics show on Monday. Furthermore, 1,887 people have received the second dose so far.

Thus, since Friday, 4,888 more Norwegians have been registered as vaccinated with the first dose. Furthermore, 14 more Norwegians have been vaccinated with dose two since Friday.

Most people have received the first dose in Viken (15,834), Oslo (11,848), and Vestland (8,602). 

The fewest doses have been administered in Troms and Finnmark (3,593), Møre og Romsdal (3,956), and Agder (3,989).

People have received the second dose in the counties of Viken (863), Innlandet (602), Oslo (407), and Finnmark (1).

The first corona vaccine in Norway – the one produced by Pfizer and BioNTech – was administered on December 27. 

The first dose of the Moderna vaccine was administered on January 15.
