Update: 84.6% of the adult population in Norway is fully vaccinated

A total of 4,154,083 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of the corona vaccine in Norway, the FHI’s statistics show on Thursday. Furthermore, 3,641,558 people have received the second dose.

Overall, 77.1% of the population has received the first dose, while 67.5% of the population is fully vaccinated.

For the population over the age of 18, the proportions are 90.7% and 84.6%, respectively.

Among young people aged 16-17, 88.4% have received the first dose, and 14.2% have received the second dose. At the age group of 12-15, the proportions are 61.3% and 0.5%, respectively.

A total of 9,093 people got the first dose on Wednesday, and 13,561 people got the second dose, according to the FHI. 

Norway started its corona vaccination on December 27, 2020.
