Update: 95 corona-infected patients are currently admitted to hospitals in Norway
On Saturday, 95 corona-infected patients were admitted to hospitals in Norway. That is an increase of two patients from the day before.
Furthermore, 21 patients are on respirators – three more than the day before, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview on Saturday.
Since February last year, a total of 70,564 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Norway, Saturday’s preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS) show.
30 new cases of infection in Østfold
A total of 30 new cases of the coronavirus have been detected in Østfold in the last 24 hours.
Most of the cases of infection have been detected in Moss – 14 cases have been confirmed there.
There are 18 corona-infected patients currently admitted to Østfold hospital, and three of them are receiving intensive care.
