In the last 24 hours, 309 new corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 99 more than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, 424 corona infection cases have been registered per day on average. The corresponding average seven days ago was 408, so the trend is rising.

A total of 116,443 people tested positive for the virus. To date, 1,465,851 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 453,518 people have received the second dose.

On Sunday, 110 corona patients were hospitalized – four more than the day before.

A total of 767 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show.
