Update: Norway registered 478 new corona cases in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 478 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 22 fewer than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 328 corona infection cases has been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 441, so the trend is declining.

In Oslo, 79 new corona infection cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. That is 14 above the average for the previous seven days.

As of Thursday night, a total of 5.4 million corona tests had been performed in Norway since February last year. A total of 120,292 people tested positive for coronavirus.

To date, 1,581,904 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 611,661 people have received the second dose.

On Wednesday, 110 corona patients were hospitalized – four fewer than the day before.
