Bane Nor will reopen the Vestfold Line on Monday, September 27. However, a number of departures will be canceled.
The line was closed between Skien and Tønsberg for two months due to a fire in a technical facility on July 27. Now it will be reopened, Bane Nor stated in a press release on Tuesday.
However, eight departures will be canceled on all or parts of the section after the Sandefjord station – three morning and five afternoon trains.
“Bane Nor will still be carrying out important work on the stretch for some time to come, and it will have some consequences for some of our trains in the morning and afternoon,” Jan-Erik Karlberg stated.
