The newspaper reported that several people between the ages of 20 and 45 are hospitalized in Bærum – without having any underlying illnesses or being at risk – is wrong, replies Vestre Viken.

On Wednesday, the local newspaper Budstikka wrote that several young people, who are not in the risk groups, have been placed on respirators in the intensive care unit at Bærum hospital.

The Vestre Viken health enterprise rejects this information on Thursday.

– The statement made by Budstikka, is not what is happening at the hospital. We cannot comment on the patients because we have the duty of confidentiality, but the outlined picture does not reflect with the facts, writes Ulrich Spreng, Director of Professional Studies in Vestre Viken HF in an email to Dagbladet.

Thursday afternoon Budstikka has published an apology, writes Media24.
