After Norway reopened on Saturday at 4 PM, only three municipalities left in the country kept local measures in place: Ullensaker, Lørenskog, and Marker.

In Lørenskog, there is a requirement to wear face masks when it is not possible to keep a distance of one meter from other people in public transport, as well as in taxis.

In Marker, fully vaccinated close contacts in schools, kindergartens, and the health service must be tested on day one and day three, and cannot go to work until the result of the last test is available. In addition, face masks are recommended in the health service.

According to VG, Ullensaker is set to be the last municipality to maintain local measures after Wednesday next week. The Municipality has introduced a face mask requirement at Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

“It will continue to apply. We have been in dialogue with the FHI… We have come to the conclusion that it is proportionate to keep it in place a while longer,” Ullensaker Mayor Eyvind Jørgensen Schumacher (AP) told the newspaper.
