Figures from Folkälsomynigheten show that seven Swedish regions could go from “green” to “orange.” Any changes will apply from Monday, August 9.

Norrbotten, Södermanland, Värmland, Västerbotten, Västmanland, Västra Götaland, and Östergötland are all set to turn “orange,” the newspaper VG writes.

Thus, people traveling from these regions might trigger quarantine requirements when entering Norway.

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) will update its infection map on Friday, which will enter into force from Monday.

In addition, Gotland and Halland could go from “orange” to “red.” That will not lead to any change for travelers at the moment, the newspaper writes.
