Vinmonopolet shops in the Oslo region will be closed until next month

Vinmonopolet, the state-owned alcoholic beverage retailer, will be closed in several municipalities in the Oslo area from January 23 to January 31. 

The temporary closure of Vinmonopolet is among the measures presented by the government today for the Oslo region.

“Vinmonopolet will also be closed and will not be open in the period from January 23 to January 31,” the Ministry of Health and Care Services announced.

The municipalities affected are primarily Oslo, Enebakk, Ås, Vestby, Nesodden, Indre Østfold, Moss, Frogn, and Våler, in addition to Nordre Follo.

  1. Nice! Close Sweden,now the Monopoly? Im glad I cant afford to drink in Norway. As they say, never so bad that it aint good for something.
