Norway left a mark on millions of Super Bowl viewers this year.

The Super Bowl is an annual championship game of the United States National Football League, and it attracts tens of millions of viewers each year.

Famous advertisements

Apart from the game itself, and the usually epic halftime show, the Super Bowl is also famous for its advertisements.

Companies go all-out for the occasion, competing amongst themselves to see who can make the funniest, most emotional, or overall best advertisement.

And for the price – it can go for over USD 5 million for 30 seconds – it’s no surprise brands want to make the most for their money.

This year, Norway was featured in one of these famous ads – for its electric vehicle success.

“Why does Will Ferrell hate Norway?”

US actor Will Ferrell of Elf, Anchorman, Step Brothers, and more brought attention to Norway as the world’s envy for electric vehicle use.

We recommend you watch the comedic ad for yourself here:

The commercial got the attention of Norway’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg and Climate Minister Sveinung Rotevatn.
