Compared to the initial phase of measures to prevent the spread of infection, we are now moving more and are less concerned about social contact.
Whereas we reduced our journeys by 65 per cent in the first week, the reduction was 34 per cent on Wednesday, April 15, according to Telenor. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration also reports that traffic has picked up, while the analysis agency Opinion shows that the percentage of us who avoid social contact has fallen by ten percentage points, according to NRK.
“This brings the fear that many now think that the worst is over and that you can start to relax again,” says Assistant Director Geir Stene-Larsen in the Directorate of Health.
