Western Police District: Six people fined 20,000 kroner each for breaching quarantine hotel duty

Six people have been fined NOK 20,000 each for violating the obligation to be admitted to a quarantine hotel.

The travelers came from abroad in May and June, the Western Police District stated on Wednesday.

The six include are a married couple in their 50s, a woman in her 50s, a man in his 50s, a woman in her 40s, and a woman in her 30s.

They traveled to Norway from Portugal, the USA, Spain, and Lithuania, the police noted.

So far, the police district has issued 31 fines for violating the rules on quarantine hotels.
