A Widerøe plane on its way from Bergen to Tromsø had to turn around due to technical trouble.

The plane ended up flying in circles west of Sotra on Monday morning and was in the air for about an hour before it landed in Bergen, the newspaper Bergensavisen writes.

“Due to a technical error, the plane had to return to Flesland, where there is a technical base,” communications consultant Lina Lindegaard Carlsen in Widerøe noted.

At 10:38 AM, Carlsen told the newspaper Bergens Tidende that Widerøe has scheduled an extra flight.
