Families with children who do not attend kindergarten, should get a home visit from people from their municipality , the Government proposes.
In her speech to the Conservative national convention party leader Erna Solberg (Prime Minister Erna Solberg) gave notice that families where the children do not attend kindergarten should be followed up more closely.
– We know that kindergarten provides the greatest benefit for children from disadvantaged families and immigrant children. This is also the group that uses it the least, said Solberg.
The government wants to set the stage for people from the municipality knocking on the doors of the parents of children who do not start in kindergarten.
– Not to moralize. But to inform about what we know kindergartesn mean for their development and for their future opportunities , she said.
