Winter season’s first snowfall in Eastern Norway
In large parts of the country, dry weather is expected this week, but in the border regions of Eastern Norway the first snowfall of the winter season is forecasted.
“The biggest opportunities for snow towards the weekend are in Eastern Norway, especially in the border areas east of Lillehammer and east of Oslo,“ says meteorologist Geir Ottar Fagerlid at the Meteorological Institute of NTB.
– “There will be 10 to 15 centimeters of snow from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. Trysil in particular is well placed,” says Fagerlid, who adds that much less rainfall is expected west of Oslo.
