Woman in her 20s injured after falling down a slope near Kjerag in Rogaland

A woman in her 20s was flown to a hospital in Bergen after falling 15-20 meters down a slope near the popular mountain plateau Kjerag in Rogaland on Saturday.

“The injured person is a foreign woman in her 20s. She was accompanied by another person on a trip. He is now being cared for by the police and health personnel. The extent and the severity of the woman’s injury are still unknown,” the Southwestern Police District announced at 11 AM on Saturday.

The police were notified of the accident around 8:15 AM on Saturday.

“We are talking about a fall of 15 to 20 meters near Øygardstølen,” operations manager Britt Randulff told NTB.

The woman was unconscious after the fall and was flown by a rescue helicopter to Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen.

    This young woman was my doctor. Infortunately she didn’t survive after this fall, she was an angel who loved her profession. She was Italian. I have been crying for a week, since I knew that she has this accident.
