The driver of one car, a woman in her 40s, and an underage girl lost their lives in a frontal collision between two cars on the E6 in Alta on Tuesday night.
“In one car, there was a woman in her late 40s who was the driver, and in the same car, there were two underage girls.
“It was quickly established that the woman had died. Both girls were injured, and one was declared dead on the spot after a rescue attempt was made,” sheriff Øyvind Lorentzen in Alta Sheriff’s District noted in a press release.
