A woman in her 60s has been found dead in Lakselv in Finnmark after a search and rescue operation.
The woman was last seen on Tuesday night.
“She was found dead at 9:32 AM. The case is being investigated,” the Finnmark Police District announced.
Operations Manager Bjørn Tormod Syversen in Finnmark Police District told newspaper iFinnmark that the police found the woman in a river.
“We do not initially suspect anything criminal, but we will carry out an investigation,” he said.
The relatives have been notified of the death.
