A woman in her 80s was found dead in a burning house in Rendalen. At 9:15 AM, fire crews were still working on putting out the fire.
The woman was taken out of the home by the fire crew and was confirmed dead on the spot.
Her relatives have been notified, operations manager Per Solberg in the Innlandet Police District told NTB at 9:15 AM.
The emergency services were notified of the fire in Unnsetbrenna in Rendalen at 7 o’clock on Tuesday morning. There is no danger of the fire spreading.
