On Monday, the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has issued a yellow danger warning for floods in southeastern parts of Viken.

The risk of flooding is due to rain which is expected to increase water flow and water levels compared to what is typical for the season.

The danger level will increase on Monday afternoon and decrease again on Tuesday afternoon.

In the danger warning, the NVE warns that there may be local floods.

“Stay up to date on the situation. Clean the waterways so that the water can flow away unhindered,” the NVE advises.
