Young people takes welfare fraud less seriously than older people

While 92 percent of people older than 45 years believes welfare fraud is very serious, three out of four under 30 years replies the same, according to a survey Opinion has done for Nav.
– It is worrying if young people do not see the seriousness of welfare fraud.The Welfare system relies on everyone to participate and contribute, Sverre Lindahl, director of Nav’s control department told Aftenposten.
Last year, 1,472 people were reported for the welfare fraud of 302 million NOK in total, according to the newspaper.
