Up to ten people were involved when a brawl broke out between a group of Somali men at Tøyen in Oslo Friday afternoon. Both machetes and impact objects were used.
– We have two of the involved in our control, the police wrote on Twitter.
Leader of operations in the Oslo police Rune Hekkelstrand, told NTB that participants in the brawl scattered and ran when the police arrived on Friday afternoon. A cab with two people were stopped and one of the passengers had lacerations in the thigh. They received treatment on site by paramedics.
– Machetes and various other kind objects had been used during the brawl, says Hekkelstrand.
The men who got into the brawl, are reportedly all young Somali men in their 20s. Police said they are aware of the set from past events.
– Of the two persons we stopped have been taken to hospital with cuts, while the other is driven to jail. We have good clues that we are using as the basis of our investigation, the police said.
