Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address the Swedish parliament on Thursday morning, the Swedish government wrote in a press release.
“I am honored that the President of Ukraine wants to speak to the Riksdag in the middle of a war.
“The Riksdag has adopted unique support measures for Ukraine and is still supporting the country’s struggle for freedom,” Speaker of the Riksdag Andreas Norlén said, according to the newspaper Aftonbladet.
Zelenskyy is expected to address the parliament at 10:55 AM on Thursday.
This will be the last in a long series of Zelenskyy’s speeches to various countries’ legislatures. His goal is to get international support for Ukraine in the fight against the Russian invasion.
