VIDEOS: World dance champions put on a spectacular show in the Norwegian mountains
Duo Sondre & Tanya put on a fabulous dance show with an equally fabulous backdrop (seriously, does it get better than the Norwegian mountains?)
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, dance duo Sondre & Tanya were left without their primary source of income: in-person dance classes, NRK reported.
The pair had to rethink their livelihood – and they decided on going digital.To build up their social media following, Sondre & Tanya started focusing on creating unique dances and videos.
So, how did the Norwegian mountains come into play – apart from their otherworldly beauty, of course?
Tanya Georgiievska is from the Ukraine and Sondre Olsen-Bye is from Norway. Together, the much-awarded pair are currently reigning world champions in the Boogie-Woogie dance genre.
Tanya fell in love with Norwegian nature when she visited Sondre’s homeland for the first time. So, when they were thinking up video ideas – Norway naturally came to mind.
For their debut video in Norway, Sondre & Tanya chose the Grimsdalen Valley as their backdrop. The video is set to song Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On and titled “WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN’ GOIN’ ON in the Norwegian Mountains 🇳🇴” on YouTube. Enjoy it below!
