Telemark: Former primary school teacher convicted of downloading child abuse material
A former teacher has been sentenced to one year and three months in prison for downloading files of sexualized children and files that show the sexual abuse of children.
The primary school teacher worked at a school in Telemark during the years the downloads took place, newspaper Varden writes.
The man in his 50s admitted everything when he appeared in court.
More than 120,000 images of abuse were found on the man’s computer. According to Aust-Telemark District Court, the downloads took place over a period of around four years.
The fact that the man confessed and had not passed on the material was emphasized as a mitigating circumstance.
