The police in Bergen have opened a case connected to sexual acts without consent after receiving a report of a video being shared at Rothaugen school.

“We have been informed that a video is circulating among the youth at the school.

“Based on the information in the case, the police have opened a criminal case for sexual acts without consent,” station manager Lars Morten Lothe at Bergen city center police station told Bergensavisen.

The police found out about the video after the school principal became aware of the video and reported the case.

Incident reported to the police

“Yesterday, a video circulated in the youth environment at the school where the content is of such a nature that further dissemination is punishable.

“The matter has been reported to the police,” principal Hanne Hovland wrote in an email sent to parents at the school.

She did not provide additional details about the content of the video to Bergensavisen.
