Update: Oslo registered 128 new corona cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 128 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 70 fewer than the same day last week.

The last time infection rates in Oslo were so low was on Saturday, March 6, when 129 new infection cases were registered.

Infection rates have fallen steadily throughout this week. On Friday, 205 people were registered as infected in the capital. On Thursday, the total amounted to 256. On Wednesday, it was 292, and on Tuesday, the number was 314.

The infection rates are highest in the Stovner district and lowest in Vestre Aker. At Stovner, the infection pressure is now 973 infected per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks. In the last 24 hours, 18 Stovner residents have been diagnosed with coronavirus, figures from Oslo Municipality show.

A total of 30,902 Oslo citizens have been registered as infected since March last year.
