Princess Ingrid Alexandra to visit state institutions for 18th birthday celebrations

Princess Ingrid Alexandra will visit the Storting, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Supreme Court as part of her 18th birthday celebrations.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra will visit the Norwegian parliament (Storting), the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Supreme Court as part of her 18th birthday celebrations.

Will gain valuable legal and judicial insight and information

Princess Ingrid Alexandra will visit 3 state institutions in connection with celebrations for her 18th birthday later in the month.

January 20 will see the Princess visit the Storting, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Supreme Court in order to gain insight and information on how government and judicial institutions work. She will be briefed by officials as part of her reaching the age of majority i.e becoming a legal adult.

On her birthday, January 21, she will receive deputations and send representatives at the Royal Palace.

The Princess is second in the line of succession after her father, Crown Prince Håkon.
