In some school districts over 90 per cent are in summer courses for mathematics for student teachers. At Hedmark University College ended price of NOK 300,000 for each student who could claim, writes newspaper Aftenposten.
Only 118 of the 485 consisted precourse in mathematics for potential student teachers. It is consistently underperforming, and at some schools is the failure rate of over 90 percent.
Applicants who do not meet the requirement for a four in mathematics, but who had a minimum grade wood, were selected to take the free preparatory courses to qualify.
The state has spent ten million crowns on the nationwide summer school. Highest Price per eligible pupil was at Hedmark University College, where 93.9 percent coats.
Price per pupil could claim on the whole was 300,000 kroner, writes Aftenposten.
2 of 33 students at the school consisted. The school received a state subsidy of 300,000 crowns for each commenced class with 30 students, and turns giving him 600,000 crowns for the course.
This means that the price tag for each student who can go on to teacher training is of 300,000 kroner.
– Of course we are very sorry for this result. We had many highly motivated students who have not been fulfilled his dream, says Elin Bakke, vice dean for education at HIH said.
