On Tuesday, the coordinated admission to universities, colleges, and vocational colleges opened. This year, almost 75,000 study places are offered in 1,760 courses.

Universities and colleges offer a total of 62,077 planned study places – divided into 1,317 different courses at 27 universities and colleges in Norway, the Directorate for Higher Education and Competence stated on Tuesday.

Although there are fewer advertised courses this year than last year, this is still the highest number of study places that have been announced at universities and colleges through coordinated admissions.

The vocational schools advertise a total of 12,664 planned study places divided into 443 courses and 24 vocational schools.

Applicants have plenty of time to decide which education to apply for. The application deadline this year is April 20.
