Homeschooling : 44 percent of parents did not have contact with the school

The coronavirus crisis has led to many parents homeschooling their children. However, 44 percent said they had no contact with the school during the period.

This was revealed in a survey analysis agency Opinion conducted for the Parents’ Committee for Basic Education (FUG).

30 per cent of the parents surveyed said they had no contact with the school during the first three weeks of homeschooling, while 14 per cent only had contact with the school through their child.

Head of Marius Chramer at FUG thought the numbers were alarming.

1,029 parents were involved in the survey, which was conducted from 16-20. April.
