Lånekassen lowers fixed interest rates by up to 0.4 percentage points from 1 May.

The new fixed interest rates will thus be 2.35 percent for loans with a three-year maturity, 2.40 percent for loans with a five-year maturity, and 2.50 percent for loans with a ten-year maturity.

The floating interest rate from May 1 is 2.60 percent.

– “The way Lånekassen is obliged to calculate its interest rates means that we do not fully capture the extraordinary reduction in interest rates that results from the Coronavirus situation,” says CEO Nina Schanke Funnemark.
