Princess Ingrid Alexandra will from the autumn start at Uranienborg school in Oslo, says the Royal Palace.
The Princess started in 2014 at the private school Oslo International School at Bekkestua, but will now want to complete her tenth grade at a state school in Oslo.
The Princess still has one year left of the Norwegian secondary school, and wants to spend the last year at Uranienborg school, says Assistant Communications Manager at the Palace, Sven Gjeruldsen to NRK.
He says to NTB that the Princess wants to spend the last year at a state school.
The Crown Prince family wanted a place at a school in Oslo, and since Uranienborg school is right next to the Castle, it was natural to choose it, says Gjeruldsen.
Uranienborg School is currently under construction. The pupils from the 5th to the 10th grade are therefore being taught at the Fernanda Nissen school in Nydalen this current school year, but the construction project is expected to be completed before school start in the autumn.
From 2010 to 2014 Ingrid Alexandra went to Jansløkka school in Asker.
The Princess starts High school in the fall next year. It is not certain which school the Princess will then choose.
Princess’s brother, Prince Sverre Magnus, attends Oslo Montessoriskole at Vettakollen.
