Detection of the insects at seven secondary schools and 14 primary schools in Trondheim, Trondheim Eiendom informs Adresseavisen.

Director Per-Tore Støen of Trondheim Eiendom, who has the responsibility for the school buildings, tells the newspaper that the company has been reporting a bloom of the pest over the past year, but that they are very small quantities and individual observations.

He says the company is in control of the situation and is working with an external company on the problem and he encourages parents to take a little extra care.

– They are not dangerous, we just don’t want these insects to stowaway in students backpacks and go home with them.
