Large state-owned corporation like Statoil, DNB and Telenor all experience a decline in the public opinion on TNS Gallup’s annual public opinion survey.
The Wine Monopoly are at the top of the list for the fourth consecutive year , with 85 points, followed by Mercedes and Toyota,the newspaper Dagbladet reports.
Statoil falls by 13 points from last year to 39 points, DNB falls by 7 points and get 42, while Telenor fall by 6 points to 38. All of them are in the bottom 20 in the survey which was conducted in March.
Norwegian is on the rise again (18 points), but is still behind SAS. Tine makes a big jump from 15th to 6th place. Tabloid national media like Dagbladet and VG figure are at the bottom of the list,as usual, along with the NextGenTel, NSB and Facebook.
5,088 people were interviewed and asked about their opinion of 68 companies for the survey.
– It is unfortunately not surprising that our numbers have declined. It has been a pretty demanding final period, which included the Vimpelcom case. But we just have to roll up our sleeves to improve our reputation, communications director of Telenor Norway, Torill Uribarri,Telenor Norway .
Statoil information director Bård Glad Pedersen said the group is not surprised by the decline, given the sharp fall in oil prices over the past year.
