Norwegian economy is probably about to reach a turning point, and optimism increases among businesses in this country, the NHO’s report for the second quarter shows.
The construction industry, tourism and fisheries and aquaculture is assessed positively are particularly optimistic about the prospects of Norwegian economy, NRK news reported.
– The state budget for 2017 ought to stimulate the economy far less than the 2016 budget, department manager Dag Aarnes in NHO says.
According to the report the demand of the households is expected to remain weak in the year ahead, while housing investment will likely increase slightly throughout the year. There will be no increase in investment in the mainland economy, according to the report. There are still more businesses and companies who plan to reduce their investments than ones who plan to increase their investments, according to NHO’s investment index.
