The value of the oil fund has passed NOK 10,000 billion on the day 50 years after the Ekofisk discovery that started the Norwegian oil adventure.
Today, the Oil Fund passed the symbolic figure, according to the Oil Fund’s own website.
The Oil Fund, which was actually the Global Government Pension Fund, was established in 1996 and has invested in over 9,000 companies in 73 countries.
