So far this year, around 10,000 more drivers have been ticketed for speeding violations in Norway compared to last year.

Increase of 10,000 violations

He says that the target figure for how many speeding offenders one wants to take is set higher than before. In addition, more lasers have been used than before.

Karlsen says 10,000 more drivers have been taken so far in 2019 compared to last year.

“I’m sure that there is an increase in the summer months, too, seen in isolation,” the UP chief tells the newspaper.
