16 flights delayed by severe storms in Northern Norway
Large parts of the road network in Nordland, Troms, and Finnmark are closed, and flights are delayed.
By 9:50 AM, 16 arrivals at Tromsø Airport were marked as delayed. The storm on Sunday also caused logistical problems.
“It has created a lot of queues and consequential delays that will affect the whole of Northern Norway on Monday,” Widerøe’s communications director Silje Brandsvoll said.
Widerøe hopes to be back to normal operations during the day but says that people must be prepared for some delays.
Berlevåg school in Finnmark will be closed on Monday due to the weather, according to iFinnmark.
