A fourth person has been found dead at the landslide area in Gjerdrum
Another person has been found dead at the landslide area in Gjerdrum. Thus far, four people have been confirmed dead after the landslide.
“We have made a new discovery of a dead person, in the same area as the third dead person.
“They have both been transported out of the landslide area,” operations manager Knut Hammer said at a press briefing at 9:00 PM on Saturday.
Deputy Mayor Leif Haugland also confirmed the information.
“It is with a heavy heart that we must state that another deceased person has been found,” Haugland said.
