President of the Norwegian parliament (Storting) Eva Kristin Hansen (AP) does not want to explain herself in relation to the commuter housing case in the hall of the Storting, but she will provide the parliament with a written answer.
“We have discussed whether I should give a statement to the Storting and tell the story that I have now told to the parliamentary leaders… We agreed that I would provide them with a thorough written answer,” Hansen stated.
She apologized and said that she misunderstood the commuter housing rules. Hansen says the written statement to the Storting will be issued during the day.
