An inmate in Bergen prison has been diagnosed with coronavirus. The details of the infection are not known, according to the newspaper Bergens Tidende.

The person allegedly received a positive test result on Monday night.

“We implement ordinary infection control measures,” prison manager Harald Åsaune noted.

The head of the prison did not have additional information about the infected person’s vaccine status at the time of writing.
